Dewalt Framing Gun Trigger Trouble

I picked up a Dewalt framing gun and when to change the trigger to the bump action black trigger. I took the gray trigger out and put the black one in but it still functions as a sequential trip. Going over the directions it said to make sure the "contact trip guide" was pushed fully upward and flush with the tool housing. Well the problem is I dont see where that entire assembly can even move much less be pushed in either direction. The instructions leave alot to be desired as usual and I cant seem to get this to work. Anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks!

Jim
