DeWalt DW735 Planer On Sale At HD

Just saw it on sale for $279. It's a great planer, though a bit heavy to drag around.

any truth to this, thats almost 50% off and I didn't see this at my store.

Yeah, I've been checking the area Cheapo Depot and I can't even find one that stocks that planer at full retail price. I've have been seeing them pop up everywhere on craiglist for around $450 or so.

They stick the cheaper model here. i think it's the 734

Bought it for 279 on saturday last one. I went in for a cord end and well couldnt pass it up even being a framer.

yea my local depots dont stock the dewalt planers either, only bosch and ryobi

Not that I'm aware of. He must be thinking of the hand held planers. HD is closing out the better of the two for $75.

They went on sale here Yesterday(thursday) and I picked one up. Last one in a box I belive.
