Dewalt 110V Converter For 18v Batteries
I know that this goes against everything that the cordless concept stands for, but there are times when I wish DeWalt made a plug in adapter for their 18v tool line.
Sometimes I just know the project is going to be long and I am not that far from an out. Case in point I had to cut out a substantial portion of a Car frame to install a larger gas tank for a gentlemen. While grinding down what I could not cut off I went through a few batteries. It would have been nice if I could have just inserted an adapter that plugged into a standard 110v source. I know I could just pony up and buy standard tool that runs off of 110 but, I would rather just buy an adapter. Just a little rant. Plug in tools are much more powerful and stuff, but I do like the convenience of of Batteries for 75% of everything I do. I'm pretty sure DeWalt had something like this for the 28v. |
