Cordless Rotozip

I was thinking of buying the cordless rotozip and was woundering if anyone had experiance with one. I either need the corded or cordless version for cutting tile and drywall both. I just was thinking how nice it would be not to drag a cord around. Thanks in advance.

Ken

Re: Cordless Rotozip

My corded rotozips have always held up well. I bought a new cordless dewalt...it seemed to run a little slow compared to my roto. Two houses later it hardly runs at all.

Re: Cordless Rotozip

Do they still make them? We did have one and it worked great until we used to cut out holes in drywall upside down. I think the dust and powder got inside and it just stopped running. I then searched for it online but some sites stated it was no longer being made. Let me know if you can find some, I would definately buy another due to the portability. I would not use it for drywall again though. Although they may make them better to handle that now. We had ours for about 5 yrs.

Lowes has the cordless roto zips. Also CPO tools offers them online. Think there 18 volt. I just went and purchased the corded version. I have used them so I know they work well for what im needing.
