canadian tire compressor

looking at a flyer for a hardware store chain that we have here in Canada- canadian tire- they have a house brand compressor on sale cheap- 65 bucks (1/2 price) 3 gallon, 1/5 horse, 100 psi, 1 scfm @ 40, .75 scfm @ 90 psi - with 25' of hose and some accessories. basically this is a piece of dreck - but its so darn cheap- and I need a small lightweight compressor specially for those walk-up buildings.. hmmm I do have an offshore comp. but its 60 lbs!!! the one that I want is a senco, but its 300 bucks- when its in stock.
not sure if I should go for this or not- I think it will drive my 23 ga and 18 ga pinners, but I have my doubts about the 15 ga finish nailer...
what'dya think?

Sure it'll probably drive them.. for a few weeks. Then it will probably fall appart and you'll need to buy a new one.

The Job Mate crap is built for a home owner who intends to use them, but the end up never taking them out of the box.

ya, well its only gotta last for a few months.. and with my work load right now- it'll last forever I suppose that I could always just get it and unpack carefully and try it out - and return it if its too small....

I picked up a ratchet set that was on sale, broke the 3/8 on the first bolt I tried.

The only Jobmate product I have multiple of it the torpedo laser level.

Whenever the go on sale for $7 I buy a few of them.. because I always seem to drop one from the top of a ladder and mess up the bubbles. Disposable levels.

Oh, and the hole saw sets.. They go on sale for about $9. I bought one set that I use for drilling through particle board cabinets, which isn't often enough to buy a DeWalt or simular set.
