Bosch Multi-X Multitool

Bosch PS50 Multi-X
Does anyone have any experience with this tool? It looks similar to the fein Multimaster, but is cordless, running off Bosch's 10.8 / 12.0 volt lithium batteries. I have been looking for somthing similar to the multimaster, but $300 is a high price for one tool. And the dremial version seems to be to cheep...

If it was not cordless I doubt that I would hesitate to buy one, but the fact that the Bosch is battery powered leaves me woundering how it would preform. So anyone out there that has any thoughts?

An interesting paradox.

The fact that it's cordless kills it for me too. Not because of power issues, but because of the fact it would be a one off battery that I will have to worry about it being charged when needed.

If it's not 18volt Dewalt I don't want it cordless.

The Bosch 10.8v batteries hold up well in my impact driver, and buying the saw would give me 4 batteries total, and they do charge quickly (30 min.). But it seems like a saw would run through them pretty fast.

if they had a corded version i would consider it. 10.8 v is not enough imo, i have a fein and let me tell you ive cut thru nails in 7 1/4 x 5/4 thick base to fit in cabinets, the blades were smokin but cut thru every time.

I have it and use it daily. Works really great for cutting trim and drywall. Wouldn't recommend it for sanding or anything like that. Use the tool for what it's designed for and don't over work it and it will work great!

When buying replacement blades stay away from the Dremel ones they're a joke. The Bosch ones are good but harder to find. I buy the Fein Japan tooth blades, they cost around $35 but are well worth it

I've got the Fein Super Cut. Worth every penny! From what I can see the others, including the Fein Multimaster don't have half the power of the Super Cut.

Amen! I have all Dewalt for the simple fact that there's only one battery to charge. I just purchased a dual port charger and love having two battery's charging at the same time. Picked up a bunch of nano's for $65/each

This is quite an interesting thing to know. The cordless thing is something which I happen to like.

Same here. Since Fein's patent ran out, every body and their momma has jumped into the market, but the original is still the best by far. I bet my Supercut would cut a Bosch and a Dremel in half....at half power, with a dull blade

If we can tape that and put it on YouTube I will pay for one or the other.
