Black And Decker Been Sold?

i was in the tool rental section of the evil orange earlier today looking at some of the used tools their selling, the guy at the counter comes over and starts chatting, i was mentioning the milwaukee framing guns they had in their flyer for $200. then he somehow dewalt came up then he said black and decker has been sold so now there will only be 2 tool manufacturers but still 8 names to buy.

anyone else hear anything about this?

hmmm, i figure it would have been the other way around seeing how the fatmax tools are going down in quality over the last year or so
