Birdsmouth DADO Kit?

Is there anyone with a used Birdsmouth DADO kit for sale? I know this is no longer made (due to design).

I haven't heard of such a tool. We have always cut each rafter individually with a circular saw and finished up with a hand saw. Do you have a pic of this? I'm curious as to how it works.

Guess that would cut production time down to nothing. In 30 years of being in construction I have never seen one of these. You guys have kept these hidden haven't you?

That's a serious piece of hardware. I can see myself getting hurt with it just carrying it somewhere. If I actually plugged it in, I'm certain at least 3 or 4 people would lose their lives.

Just when you think that you've seen it all! Better hang on tight when you fire that baby up! Anybody else thinking of the kickback potential? I'm not suprised that they don't make them anymore.

How in the world would follow your pattern riding that double dutch bus!

"Rough Framing" I guess.

I can see the time saver, but what a sacrifice in quality.

It could always double as replacement blades in the margarita blender.
