The "Best Blades"
Hello I was just wondering what some consider "the best" cutting blades for circular saws, sawzalls, jigsaws etc, I was told at my local HD that the Milwaukee sawzall blades were the best but then I recently bought some used Bosch tools that had their blades on them and these blades seemed to work better than the Milwaukee and even a rigid sawzall blade seemed to work very well too.
I know it is somewhat a matter of opinion but I like to use the best products as I know that they will out perform and give me faster and better results, any opinions? thanks. |

Re: The "Best Blades"
I've had good luck with Milwaukee for sawzall blades. Bosch for sabre saw. I've yet to find a brand I like for my table saw or circular saws. I've tried many and none have really done anything for me.

Re: The "Best Blades"
Bosch for jigsaw.
DIABLO for circs and table and miter. (circs get new diablos EVERY deck when we start cutting the composite.) For the sawzall if I am just cutting wood then the pruning blades from skil cut through it in a hurry. Aside from those I used a lennox once and I liked it a lot. But I usually find the milwaukee are the second choice and more easily available.

Re: The "Best Blades"
I really like the diablo's, you get alot of bang for your buck. Never have had a Forrest but I hear they are near the top and you pay for it. I currently have a freud avanti on my circular saw, pleased with it. On a side note about the Forrest, the flooring mill I go to runs a 12 inch one(not sure exactly what model) in their straight line rip saw. They run hardwood through it all day long every day, and they claim a blade change every 4-5 months-----pretty impressive.

Re: The "Best Blades"
Freud on everything that turns. The best bang for the buck.
Bosch for the saber saws. Whatever is cheapest for recips., they tend to get bent up or broken well before they have a chance to wear out.
