Seriously. I like a leather bags with a belt and suspenders. Seems like a vest would "ride up" when leaning over or whatever.

Seems like it would hurt the shoulders after a while, but then you would probably get use to it...kinda like wearing overalls the first few days.

i got my dad one for his birthday. He loves it. I have the stronghold belt, but the vest is pretty sweet. I would definitely recommend

A couple of hours with a belt
on my hips and the sciatica will
literally bring me to my knees.
A vest has been a godsend for me.
Might not have the problem now
if I had switched to one sooner.

i think a vest would be okay unless you have to do any overhead work but i stick to a canvas set of bags with a padded belt

I've just started using one of these. So much more comfortable than the tool belt. I'm amazed at how much stuff I end up with in the vest & haven't noticed the weight like I would have with the tool belt. I'm absolutely converted. http://www.skillers.com/Skillers/

I have the older version,
in canvas, and it's great for me.
Looking for something cooler
for summer though.
