Batteries & Cold Temps

Curious as to what everyone does with their equipment that requires regular batteries. I have some tools that use AA, AAA, & C batteries, but with the cold weather they pretty much go dead over night. I really don't feel like removing all my batteries just to take them inside, or buying new ones every time I plan on using the equipment. Energizer has some extreme weather, but they don't have them in C's. Are there any other extreme weather batteries out there that can keep a charge through below freezing temps?

So, just curious about what everyone else does.

Thanks!
Dan

Re: Batteries & Cold Temps

I throw all my tools that use batteries in one toolbox. That way I only have to take 1 box in. It was the simplest and cheapest idea I could come up with.

Re: Batteries & Cold Temps

sit your batteries near a heat source, be it rads or a halogen lamp, warming them will bring back some of the charge plus making charging quicker

Hey guys, I back my van up to my small storage and plug in my heater... don't take anything out of my van including glues, caulks etc. I use one of those ceramic heaters.
Works great.
