Bad Dog Tools

Anyone have any of their bits?

I saw them at the Baltimore Remodeler's show and they looked like great bits.

Couldn't remember the name of the company but I finaly found them online: http://www.baddogtools.com/index.php

The guy that sells them at the shows reminds me of Billy Mays...especially when he takes the drill and slams it as hard as he can into the steel while he's drilling.

I suppose they are good, but small drill bits are cheap enough to just consider expendable.

Now, it that dude made a Sawszall blade that didn't get dull after three cuts, I'd buy them!

Greg,

I was more interested in their router bit sets and their elongated forshner style hole bits.

Esepcially since they stand behind their stuff w/ lifetime warranty. Of course, the question w/ those types of warranties is how hard they make it to get them honored.

I bought a set of the forstner bits these about four years ago at a trade show and have been very happy with them. They've held up great and stay pretty sharp. The guy gave me a sharpening disc when I bought the kit which I've used to touch them up but about eight months ago I sent the bits I was using in and they sharpened them all for free, certainly can't complain!

I just threw up a thread about looking for router bits that can handle 33,000 rpm. Can Bad dog bits handle those speeds??
