I came across this on a site and have seen their application for its use, but I was wondering what was it really designed for? Has anyone seen or used on before?

It is used for opening the relief valve on a 105 Delta manual sight. So in case you put too much nitrogen into the housing, you do not warp the lenses. You put the nitrogen inside to keep the mirrors from fogging up during rapid changes in temperture.
