Anybody Seen The Fein Multi-master Infomercials?

Anybody seen the Fein Multi-master infomercials on tv? Kind of wierd to see such a fine tool hawked like that. I always thought of that tool as a pro tool, like everything made by Fein, but if you knew nothing about it and saw that commercial you would likely be skeptical and lump it right in with just another crappy tool that will break or do nothing for me.

Kind of strange too how they don't ever give any pricing info.

i would not be caught with out mine. was a little cautious at first for the price but it was one of the best investment i made. The only thing i don't like are the cost of the blades.

The tool cost me just under $300.00 but is well worth it. You can make oddball cuts in tight spots that were otherwise nearly impossible. Replacement blades are $$$$$$. By from the mfr. online to save.

Re: Anybody Seen The Fein Multi-master Infomercials?

I think one of these is going to be my next tool purchase. My dad has one, and I've used it a lot while working for him, so I know how useful it is at the right time, and it seems like every day, I need it's unique abilities several times.
I see now that they are advertising it as a "6 in 1" tool, that replaces $600 worth of tools, and I guess that is the best way to advertise to diy'ers that think riobi and the dewalt cheapy line is good quality- it might be expensive, but it will replace several cheap tools. As far as advertising to the pros, I would think that they would be better off to advertise that when it's the right tool for the job, it's often the only tool for the job.

I guess I can't fault them to trying to appeal to the low end market as well. If they can sell a high end tool as the cheap option, more power to them.

The Multi-Master is the Diy line, the SuperCut is the Pro version. More power, heavier duty motor, metal case, and it used to have it's own proprietary star blade fitment (which the new MM now has). I absolutely love my SuperCut. It is an irreplaceable tool once you start learning all of the things you can do with it. The price for the tool itself is worth every penny, but the blade costs are way over the top imo. Especially how easy it is to totally mangle one on a hidden nail or staple.

Great tool. Keep finding more uses for it every day. I am not yet allowed to post links, but here is a website where you can purchase aftermarket blades,- - multiblades.com
I have not purchased any yet, but have heard very good comments on his quality.
