7000w Generator Problem

I have a 7000w generator and want to run a 50amp plasma cutter. The problem is that the 220v outlets are only 30amp. Has anyone hotwired one of these?

Zach

BTW: Its a dewalt model DG7000B

I'm sorry, but you're an idiot. 7000 watts is 29 amps. Not enough for your plasma.

Re: 7000w Generator Problem

You have listed your trade as an electrician, and with the question you asked, it is apparent you are not. You may wish to post on DIYChatroom.com. This thread is closed before the guys get a whiff of blood in the water.
