30/34 Degree Framing Nails

I have a new tool and was checking out the specs for the head offset for a Senco 601 frame pro nailer. I have an extra box of Passlode prostrip 30 degree 3 1/4 nails. The Senco nailer uses 34's but also says in the specs that the following nailers will use this 34 degree clipped head Senco nail. For instance a PorterCable that uses 28's according to their own specs and a nailer also by Porter that uses between 30 and 34 degree offset clipped heads(fm350a & fc350a respectively). The Senco nails are a pain to get and are almost identicle except for a bit softer curve on the head. Is the striking mechanism in these heavy tools that fussy and can I get away with shooting this box of Passlode prostrip 30's through a Senco nailer that calls for 34's without doing damage or voiding a warranty etcetera?

Re: 30/34 Degree Framing Nails

Thanks for the feedback. I talked to a Senco rep, and he told me that if it works that I should be fine regardless of the offset head angle.
