Based on the replies you got in the swap thread, I'd say no one is interested in this overpriced truck.

Well if a new one goes for $38K then I would gladly pay $27K for it but its not the type of truck I'm looking for.

Dropped the price 1 k , but it's still gonna be 5 yrs old in a couple of months. Buy it for 27k and bring it to another dealer for a trade in and see what they give ya for it.

I don't know why you guys are bashing me on the price. I'm not the dealer and I don't make the prices you want a lower price talk to him. Its a nice truck in great condition and at a good price. I've seen many guys trying to sell 03s with 60K miles for $32K.

I dont know what its like over there but If I bought a new truck here for 38K it would drop at least 5K the minute I drove it out of the showroom, so I dont think hes gonna get 27 for one thats nigh on 5 years old.

I'm in no way bashing you. I know you're not the one selling this truck, nor am I in the market for a truck. Although I agree with you it looks like a great truck, although I'd like to know why they had to put a new body on it if I were a buyer. But IMO the price is too high.

Price might be a little high, but those heavy duty fords do hold their value. This truck is a 4 wheel drive, with a dump assembly, and at 40,000 the diesel motor is barely broken in. I've got a 2000 model that is a standard 12 ft flat bed, and 2 wheel drive (50,000) and it still blue books at 16 - 17000.00. In fact I could borrow that much on it if I needed to.
