I was talking to a buddy of mine today who does kitchen and bathroom remodeling and askied how he comes up with his pricing. He said he breaks down the tasks and estimates how long each task may take x his daily rate. Then he adds in a "fiddlefark" fee. He used a different term. If he estimates it as a 10 day job, he'll add another few days for "fiddlefarking". He also said, if you're getting every job you quote, you're not charging enough.
