Water Problems
I'm working on very poorly designed building that was constructed in the mid 80's as a hotel. The exterior is board and batten, lots of windows and cut up with many many small roofs.
Since the building was built, there have been scores of contractors fixing leaks, flashing, battens, shingles and on and on. We recently opened the interior walls in a unit to try and see the path of the water. We did. Small roof above. We did the repair. We only "slowed" down the water in that area. So...... I know that mosture meeters are going to do nothing in this circumstance (I have a headache from all the BS from the home inspectors on moisture meeters) but is there an xray or ultra sound that can detect water deeper inside the wall cavity. I am picturing a gizmo like a stud finder if there is such a unit. Thanks in advance, Jim Kopp |

Re: Water Problems
Let me know if you find one, I've never heard of it. How about a couple willow sticks and a douser?
