Tips On Keeping Products From Freezing In Truck

I have some stuff in the box truck I would rather not freeze-such as paints, caulks, mastics and the likes. Does anyone have any cool methods of keeping certains items from freezing?

I have a large double door cooler which was being tossed by a restuarant. I ran heat tape inside the cooler across many of the shelves and it is my 'paint closet'-a convenient place for paints, glues, and everything else of a similar nature. Typically, it stays around 45 degrees-even when it's in the single digits outside. I think the sensor for the heat tape is on the outside of the unit-which means it would be on based on the outside temperature, not the inside temperature of the cooler-but it keeps everything from freezing. To bad my leftover 5 gallon buckets of paint/joint compount won't fit in.

thanks for the tips

A single 100W bulb will keep stuff from freezing most of the time.

In my very brief life in freezing weather, I also had a block heater wired in. Nice to have heat when you start up plus it extends battery and engine life.
