What's the cost to run them? Is it being run in an insulated room or not?

Got a link?

Re: Temporary Heat

On large open areas where an open flame is a problem we use a oil fired hot air furnace. Run some temp duct work where you need it, the furnace & oil tank can be kept outside. If you don't want to use oil a gas furnace works equally as well.

I unfortunatly cannot post a link on here. It says I have to make 15 posts first. If you go to lbwhite com, look under products then construction heaters then ductable direct-fired heaters.

I used them in both insulated and non-insulated buildings. The last place was 6000sqft.

Propane was the fuel I was using but it will work on natural gas also. It uses 16lbs of propane an hr when running fullblast 350,000btu's.

Sorry about not being able to post the link

Re: Temporary Heat

Yes, it was a chilly start. Yesterday morning caught me by surprise. I didn't put the wood stove on so temps dipped way down over night inside.

Hey, do they require Fire Suppression systems in these barns. I have heard a number of areas are now requiring it. Not sure why anyone would not want it. I saw two barns burn up. Both contained very expensive race horses. Most did not make it.
