Subcontrating A Pole Barn
Im subcontracting a pole barn. The barn is 42 x 70, my job is to set the posts, girts, trusses, purlins, set two windows and one entrance door, side it with metal siding and roof with metal roofing. Does anyone know a fair labor price for this?

Re: Subcontrating A Pole Barn
And you are located where? Fair here may be way under fair where you are, depending on your insurance, etc. I do steel erection for $4 a sq/ft, plus concrete, plus another buck for insulation. Some pole barn builders will do it for $2...but that is the bottom of the scale. You also need to figure in for equipment if you don't own it that you might have to rent......
