Steel Framed Wall To Stick Framed Wall
Hey all,
Anyone got a good idea of a way to go from a steel framed wall to a stick framed wall above it? Studs, 16" O.C. Project is a hearth and chimney where the framing near the wood stove will need to be non-combustible but then can go to wood higher up the chimney, or do you think we should use steel framing all the way up? I am biased towards wood, so don't mind me .Thanks |

I would say go metal all the way up myself.

Re: Steel Framed Wall To Stick Framed Wall
Once you get through the learning curve of using metal, your bias toward wood framing will change.
