Ss110a Shear For Fiber Cement Siding?

i have looked at this product from "Pacific International Shear" to cut Hardie Plank fiber cement. i want to not have the silica dust that is common when using the diamond Hardie-saw blade. would like feedback from someone that has used this product or shear as i have just started with fiber cement siding. thanks

or is the hardie blade the best way to go with a dust collector? i just dont want to have that dust for the cut man to breath even with a mask.

I have the Porter Cable (AKA Kett) shear.. I think it works great ... at least for straight cuts. Tears it up when you try and turn it. I use holesaws and jigsaws for circular cuts.

The shears are quick and easy but they don't give a real clean cut. They tend to crush the the Hardi a small bit...not terrible and certainly well within what we would expect as building tolerances. I certainly like the shears a whole lot better than I do that diamond saw blade which I still use when I need a clean cut.
