Scared Of Windows

Hello, I've been in business as a cleaning company for almost 3 years, specializing on construction clean-up for the last year. I'm just getting into working on custom homes, and I'm scared of those exterior windows. It seems like every builder in Houston has fired dozens of crews because of scratched windows! How do you handle exterior windows? Does it seem to make more sense for the builders guys to do the exterior windows than the cleaning crew, who are mostly women and don't like heights?

Scratched windows were a big problem when we were building. The problem is they can get scratched anytime through the building process but you only see the scratches when they are cleaned. So who gets blamed?? You couldn't get me to clean new windows if you held a shotgun to my head. I'm certain there are easier ways to make a living.

Re: Scared Of Windows

There was a HUGE thread on JLC about 6-8 months ago regarding new construction window cleaning. There was some glass expert involved in the thread and it got very specific and scientific. After viewing the thread, I think disabling land mines might actually be a better way to make a living.
