Real Room Sizes

For many years especially since being on my own I have been building rooms to real sizes. For instance if the HO request a 24*18 addition when I finish the interior dimensions of my room will be 24*18, not the exterior ..
How many of you build like that ?? or do you all build 24*18 exterior and end up with smaller dimensions..

I see alot of this in my area as I go behind other contractors I was just wondering what everyone else does....

Re: Real Room Sizes

Measure to the outside always. Same as when figuring the square footage of a house, the area under the walls is included.

Dave.
