Pricing Windows
I'm pricing out windows on a 4200sqft project and looking for options. The plans call for Anderson 400 series and as I understand the 200 series w/ e-coated glass is about the same, other than a few size options. The total number on the windows is $22,480 for the 400 series-any experience with other good windows including energy efficiency. I've always thought the vinyl covered wood was better than the all vinyl (energy efficiency), but don't have anything to base it on-true or false?

Go for vinyl its the only true maintenance free window. If your stuck on a wood window though take a look at marvin, pella, eagle in addition to anderson (anderson obviously knows Vinyl windows are a viable product because they recently purchased silverline a soley vinyl window manufacturer
