Question

Plastic Zip Down Walls


Does anyone know were to get plastic zip down walls?

here is the question the customer is asking.

"I want to enclose my deck with plastic zip down walls instead of glass- so i can roll the plastic up in good weather."

my first inclination would be to go to the bay area and find a good boat canvas/canopy maker, try starting somewhere in easton annapolis area, should be a plenty

Bone Saw has got it. This is a typical scenario used in the marine industry to enclose the "flying bridge" and rear cockpit area of boats. You should have no problem locating several shops arounf the coastal areas. Be ready for $$ shock.

We had a hospitality tent/awning made that was near 20'x40'. It had panels like you mention. The company was Holiday Awnings out of either Arizona or Nevada. Thier work was top notch, the complete set-up we had made was near 20K.

3rd vote on the marine aspect of it. I used to own a large sailboat. Don't go for the first price you find. Look around. The prices can vary alot.

A local tent maker can whip them up with no problem.
