Question

Mini Skid Steers

My friend has a business fixing up outdoor areas. He removes trees, chips wood, lays mulch, digs up dirt, etc. He's really interested in getting a mini skid steer. He is particularly interested in Boxer. He asked me if I knew anything about it. I don't really, but I told him I'd post a message about it and see what people had to say.

Do any of you have a mini skid you're happy with? Any recommendations?

i've rented boxers and if I had to buy one I would buy the diesel. Tough little machine.

Re: Mini Skid Steers

I have the DitchWitch SK500, with multiple attachments and It is a Great Machine.

Buy a SK500 or the SK650 if the need for Power is More.

IMHO the money these machines cost is Better on a Dollar For Dollar Comparison to other machines.

Re: Mini Skid Steers

I have rented a Bobcat MT-50 before and found it to be quite capable. I am not familiar with any of the others.
