Material To Cover Inside Of Horse Trailer
I am in the process of building a camper inside the front part of a new horse trailer. I have fitted 1 inch styrofoam between all the bracing and am ready to cover it (wall covering). The front of the trailer has a rounded surface. Any advice out there as to what material could be used that is flexible enough cover these surfaces? Thanks.

Re: Material To Cover Inside Of Horse Trailer
You could use paneling. It should bend enough to conform to the curve. Or a fabric would also be nice for a camper. If you use fabric start at the top center and stretch the center working out top and bottom.

Re: Material To Cover Inside Of Horse Trailer
We have considered and rejected the idea of fabric. I'm not sure that paneling will work because the surface is rounded (like the inside of a ball). I'm sure paneling would probably work if it were like a normal curved wall though. Thanks for your input - any other ideas out there?

Frame it off to a square edge and keep access to the radius part by way of door to use as storage. Cover the framing with some plywood then Laminate it your favorite color.

Re: Material To Cover Inside Of Horse Trailer
Arnheimacres,
Have you considered basic countertop laminate material for ALL surfaces? MANY style choices, very flexible (er, up to a point...). You may even be able to find shorts and remnants (mix-n-match your panels, for instance) for a discount if you hunt around at distributors/ manufacturers. And, you can score it and pop it, like drywall (umm, MOST times...). Elsewise, just use a trim saw.

1/4 inch sheetrock will bend to whatever you want if mopped down... IE get a mop and soak it. I've built photo studios in this manner.

Re: Material To Cover Inside Of Horse Trailer
My Husband is a trailer mechanic and he said to use kemlite FRP. You should be able to get it at your local truck supplier. He said they sell all different kinds of moldings and what not.
