That's what matches are for (the stink factor that is).
I'm in charge. If that means cleaning a customers toliet at the end of the day, so be it.
People clean toilets for a lot less $.
However, I do tell my guys to be "neat"

I HATE using HO's restrooms and avoid if at all possible. I try to take a lunch and go someplace or use a portajohn. I had a boss once that was to cheap to rent a can at a couple of remodels that had no facilities. I refused to go take a leak in the back yard as he was doing. I drove down to the nearest AM/PM ... So he paid for facilities one way or the other...

Hey one of those houses had a neighbor who had an apartment above his garage that overlooked the yard on one side and a house full of kids on the other with no fence in between... The last thing I needed was an indecent exposure charge lol

We were working in a house that had all 3 toilets removed for wood floors. There wasn't a gas station or fast food place for 10 miles. One guy had to drop a duece real bad after lunch. He used a 5 gal empty floor glue bucket with a cardboard seat. He got his junk stuck to the side of bucket.
He said it took a week to remove the glue

I've been known to stand on the roof and pee into plumbing vents if the roof pitch is not too steep. I'm not sure about crapping down one though, but it seems very do-able.

When you gotta go...you gotta go!

Our contracts with the HO all have a section titled "Owners Responsibilities. One of the responsibilities is to provide "toilet facilities" for the workers. So, the project leader/foreman on the very first day asks how the HO wants to handle the toilet facilities. If they say they prefer if their toilet is not used, then we hand them a card from the local "blue box" company and tell them to call and have one delivered ASAP. If they designate a bathroom for the workers to use, we lay out some heavy paper to the bathroom for the guys to walk over. If they suggest that we use the local gas station, we tell them that we will have to add any "hours" that the workers need to take a s*** onto a change order and charge them! Either way, it's on them. After all, when you gotta go... you gotta go!

I like your approach, putting it all on the HO. I always just include it in the price but I think I will start letting the customer decide. Keeping their home & BR clean is always a top priority!
