How Do You Go About Sub Dividing?

Hi, I am thinking about subdividing a small piece of land. What are the steps I need to take to rezone 2, 5 acre lots into 4 2.5 acre lots? I am in Keystone Heights, FL and I might build 4 houses.

Can anyone give me advise?

Talk to your city zoning office. Usually they'll have hand-out sheets describing the steps needed. You will need to have a survey done for sure. Check with the city or county for minimum lot sizes and setback requirements.

There are attorneys in every town that pretty well specialize in these matters. Give them a few sheckels, don't worry, and watch your project sail through the hoops.
