House Moving CostsDoes anyone have knowledge at how costly moving a house is? Examples would be helpful :-) Case in point, a 1 story house 33'x40' which is located very close to a roadway. Best case scenario would be to move it on the existing lot-in a straight line backwards on the lot approximately 35'. Any ideas?

Perhaps the best resource you can use to estimate moving costs is the moving company you've chosen to work with. Before you call for an appointment, have your home's square footage handy, as well as detailed notations of any large equipment or furniture you have
