Help!!! T&g Knotty Pine Removing Black Streaks

I am in the process of a complete renovation-addition on a mountain home all the ceilings are exposed 2x8 knotty pine. I have been tarping the house but with the rain and snow there is still water getting in. The existing T&G has some sort of a verithane on it, probably applied once in the 60s. I have a problem with very black streaking on the T&G (New untreated & existing) not as much on the new as the old. I have tried wood cleaner (Home Depot brand) TSP & Clorox diluted in water, nothing works! Any subjection?
Thanks

Howdy!

The "very black streaking on the T&G" is a sign of water damage. Just an estimate from your description of the job, (And I VERY rarely use this word) Replace. Sorry for the bad news.

Try Citric Acid, it sounds like tannin bleed.
