i am building a new house and i need help with how to keep up the floors. If its a really big room do you think wood would look nicer or tile? If wood, what type?

Re: Help With Flooring

Try standing in the middle of the room with your hands in the air if you can't reach try getting a box to stand on.IMHO wood would look good but if you can't get any stand the tiles one on top of the other and squeeze the last one in the top, hope this helps.Billy

Re: Help With Flooring

i went around town looking at homes in a local home show and i came across a hard mixed hardwood flooring. That had to be the best looking floor i've seen. Oak, maple, walnut, cherry 3 ,4,5 inch widths. google mixed hardwood flooring

Re: Help With Flooring

lol u guys make me crack up. but back on topic i really all depends on a few things.like for instance what will the room be used for, how big is the room give us more info to better help u. but if u want my flat out opinion i think hard wood looks very nice and for a product i like the 3/4 bruce but if u go with the bruce floor rember not install box by box. open like 4 at at time and mix them all up
