General Building Tips

I've been supervising remodels/additions for a few years and am currently working on 2 custom homes. I'm trying to find out any tips/tricks that can help out. My boss told me one - to put a conduit from the crawl to attic. I've thought of another - have a sleeve @ low point of crawl and be ready to drain the crawl in case of a significant amount of rain(which we recently had).

Any ideas/advice is appreciated.
