Re: Foundation Work

First, there is a big difference between footing and foundation walls....generally speaking, footing is priced by the lineal foot, and I suppose foundation walls would be the same, except you have forming and shoring to consider. I have a ditcher we trench footings with, and time wise, we make the bid with spare dollars. If we have to get the backhoe out, the price goes up. If you have to buy BB plyform and build form walls or rent forms, then you have a whole new set of numbers to add, plus the experience factor. I trust you have employees who can do this work, and you are just pricing it? I would hate to try it with no experience and no idea of what it will cost.

Re: Foundation Work

Thanks for your input
yes I have done the work for a GC
and i have the employees to get the job done the difference with this job is that foam preforms are being used so standered panels are not an issue

that is what i figured in lineal foot

Thanks again
anything else would be helpful

Re: Foundation Work

It works in Oklahoma to use concrete price X 1.5 for labor, steel, and forming. Some areas will be higher, but this is what the market is here.

also on the footers, some guys charge extra for doing bulkheads and others add a flat rate for piers.
