Florida Licensed GC Looking To Quailfy Business
I just moved down here from Georgia after I graduated from the University of Georgia and took, passed, and recieved my General Contractors License. However, I don't know where to go from now. So if you have any pointers or know a company that needs to be qualified please let me know.

Just my opinion, comming from a FL GC as well....... It would not be worth it to me to risk my license on another persons company. In my opinion, you need to be responsible for your own license.

Re: Florida Licensed GC Looking To Quailfy Business
I just returned from my local building assocn. installment dinner, met with some old friends and gathered some new info. Seems as though some have built their own mini-BA within the BA. A group has formed with their projects at the forefront, might be a good idea.

I wouldn't take the risk. You could run into serious problems in the future. Florida is getting stricter every year. Remember that Hobe Sound disaster not too long ago. Be smart. Just my advice.
