Fiberglass Board
question for contractors,
I do a lot of restaurant work, once and a while they have me put up FRP wall board over damaged areas, I think I want to start to market this service more. useally the frp is just going over cider block, other times I've had to gut the wall and re-drywall. Its always done at night after closing, with at least a 2 man crew My question is pricing (I dont want to sell my self short) Pricing at cost (these are my cost) labor (hourly rate p/person) 65.00 frp, trim, adhesive, anchors 2.00 sq/ft some sheet go up with out any problems, others require a lot of cuting to go around plumbing, sinks, ect I guess what Im looking for is a fair sq/ft price to estimate. so I can at least get in the door. I understand that each restaurant will have different needs, and will be bid accordingly Should I double material cost? Pick up along is a pain in the ass, and theres a fair amount of waste. Increase labor for night work? 65.00 is my day rate one of the restaurants i work for just paid some guy 1000.00 for a tile job that I would have done for 500.00 (just charging my normal rate. It has got me thinking that Im giving myself away |
