Exterior Veneer Vinyl Vs. Limestone

It may sound crazy but I am a new builder still in school and I need some sources and or general opinion on the pros and cons of limestone veneer from fellow builders along with price comparison between it and vinyl siding. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

They actually make a product called ARCUSTONE now that is a troweled on limestone product. Costs are roughly $3/sq foot for product and whatever the labor rate would be in your area. Around 150 sq/ft a day is a average amount for application. Hope that helps out. Just threw this at you since you are in school thining of new ideas and possibly new products. Look it up.
