Colorado Living

I live in California and looking into moving to Colorado. How's the construction life treating you? I own a plumbing company and build four builder-owner homes a year. Construction is good in CA, but want a better place for the kids. (education, crime rate, etc.) I've heard good things about Louisville, Co. Any info is helpful, thanks
