Ceiling Fan Wiring


i got a ceiling fan from a demo job, it has, white black and blue wires, along with the ground, i think its black and blue together, but not sure, dose anyone know?

The blue wire is usually for the light kit.
Both together if it has lights and fan hooked to single switch.
If you have seperate feeds for power - one to black, one to blue so they operate independantly.

Yea, what he said, and, don't forget, a standard light box is not approved to support a ceiling fan.
