Below Deck Waterproofing


Anyone have a suggestion on how to waterproof/seal the underside of a tongue and groove deck. This is a post construction application and we need to prevent any water from coming through the decing to the area below.

Try Googling under deck waterproofing systems. There are a variety of companies that have different systems to help you with your project.

Just installed metal roofing underneath a large veranda. You have to install it with the small grooved V's pointing up, and it forms nice little channels for the water to run out at the ends. Getting the metal cut to length is best, if you can have it that way.
