ADA Requirements For A Stage

I'm looking at building a 14" stage in the front of a sanctuary but not sure of the code requriements for wheel chair accessibility. One guy I spoke to indicate its not necessary b/c it's a 'stage'. Other research seems to point me to 1" in 12" slope for the incline, if necessary. Does anyone have an answer-is it necessary and if so,is the slope correct?

The slope is right.

I have no idea if it is necessary, but in this day and age I would figure it in to cover all bases.
