window pediments

We have an older house to side/wrap/etc and want to do some window pediments on it. It has some wooden head pieces now that are kind of nice and stand out. We'd like to do it with coil since we are wrapping the rest of the window. How do you guys do it I've seen all sorts of different things available like fypon, restoration wood (by certainteed), Mid America custom cut headers, etc. We have a brake buddy like attachement for our Van Mark break (trim former) and thinking of making up pieces with it because it will do like a crown mold profile. Not sure how you would return it to the window though.
Ideas, comments.........
Thanks,
Dave c

I'll try and get a picture tomorrow I was thinking of that but I've never posted one.

The head peices look just like this Certainteed "Rams Crown" but we don't really have to match it exact, I was just going to try and get close. I think in order to actually use this restoration millwork you'd have to remove all of the wood and replace with this all the way around the window. I don't really want to do that, and I don't want to mount this stuff over top of the coil either I don't think it will mix well. Some have told me to stay away from this millwork anyway because it moves and expands and contracts too much.
The windows have like 1x6 around them now in good condition so would rather wrap it and go from there. The top of the window looks like a 1x6 with this rams crown mounted over it.
Thanks,
Dave

that rams head is small;i've used it. we make our own crown using restoration or azek. we put up 3 1/2" restoration millwork or azek around the window either mitered or butt jointed. then we put a 4" which is actually 3 1/3" on the top part of the trim piece and glue and screw the crown into the siding whereas the trim is directly into the sheathing. we also make the returns. looks real nice. we can also fabricate a keystone out of the azek as well and that also looks real nice.
