Vinyl Window Question


I have a vinyl window sash that is welded and the insulated glass is cracked. How do i go about replacing the glass?

Replace the whole sash

yes usaully replace the whole sash if its a good window company this should be for free. if not still probably cheaper than taking the glass out and replaceing yourself but it can be done on most windows

almost all windows if they are welded have a spline on one side or the other next to the glass that comes off in order to replace the sash and unless it is a really cheap window then yours will have it to...this allows you or the company to change the glass without replacing the sash..
