Vinyl Window Frame Repair

I've got a homeowner missing a 2"x1" piece of the inside window frame.
Any one know where I can get repair materials to repair it?

How old is the window check with the window comp. it may still be covered by the comp.

The window is in a new house, probably less than 3 mos old, but it is not a warranty situation, it was broken on installation and I'm trying to keep from having to replace the whole frame which would mean R&R unit.
That's why I'm looking for repair kits.

Check Vinyldoc.com. They supply PVC materials and a patented PVC glue for windows. They will also give advice on repair techniques to use.

I always call a bathtub repair place and they fix it up like new. Its also not very expensive. I have only had white frames fixed, colors may not repair as well.

Vinyl has unique properties which will not bond properly with fiberglass, epoxy, bondo, most paints, etc. A repair using these products will fail by cracking and allowing water penetration. These repairs should be inexpensive since they are a temporary fix.

It would be preferable to use a PVC adhesive especially designed for window frames. It is quite affordable and will give a permanent and attractive repair.

replace it,its just a poor vinyl window and now its got a broken leg,put it out of it misery
