Re: "Vinyl Is Final"![]() ![]() ![]() lol here in Alberta, Canada new building codes are being brought in concerning fire resistant exteriors. They say vinal burns. I have done many fire insureance jobs and i can say that every time I have still had to tear off the partially melted siding. (even if the roof is gone and the interior gutted, maybe i could charge less for disposal if it went up in smoke like most say it does). The fact is in most new sub divisions you could reach out your uptairs window and shake hands with your neighbor. The other day i could touch the cantileavers of 2 neighbors AT THE SAME TIME!!! (6') No wonder houses burn down in 3s. The almighty provinces solution is to put exterior drywall in between houses (that will be really good for mold growth). Any band aid sollution to appease the media/government, band aid fix at minimal cost to the developer. Any way thats my 2 cents.Im a sub-contractor, I don't get paid to think. |
