Vinyl Fascia Question

I need to replace some damaged aluminum coil (fascia) and I would like to use vinyl instead. I'm not talking about Azek or anything like that. Just something non-metallic to wrap the wood in and come up over the soffit.

Can anyone recommend a material type/brand/name that I should look for.

Thanks,
Pete

Trust me, vinyl facia looks like CRAP, it will buckle worse than the aluminum. Try using properly bent and installed aluminum, or better yet steel

Re: Vinyl Fascia Question

I think alum-a-pole makes a pre creased vinyl coil that you can bend without a break or yoou may be able to find premade fascia. Any local siding supply house should have something such as ABC supply

Re: Vinyl Fascia Question

It is a coastal application and the standard coated aluminum coil corrodes and you end up with "blisters"...

That is why I need something that is non corrosive.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Vinyl Fascia Question

I'm looking for the specific manufacturer name of either the pre made fascia or vinyl coil that will not buckle...

(How's that for cutting it short and sweet).

Thanks,
Pete

Re: Vinyl Fascia Question

georgia pacific has an 8" ribbed white vinyl facia that can be bought at most Lowes stores.

Napco also has an 8" vinyl facia but good luck finding it.

You were given the name of a product. Made by Alumapole.

Re: Vinyl Fascia Question

You can use 8" vinyl fascia from Certainteed. It comes 12'6" in White. Harvey or ABC will have it in stock.
