Vertical Router For Windows
I'm looking for info on a vertical router setup (if that's the correct name) for window sashes.
Anyone happen to see one of the This Old House show that featured an tall older gentleman/window contractor that had a vertical router setup in his trailer that he can put a window sash into and route out the old glazing to remove the glass then route again slightly deeper for thicker window pane? Kind of looks like a panel saw, yet smaller. This is a manual units that routes in X,Y,Z axis. I want to know if this unit is available or was it custom made and where can I find detailed info about it. I can't find the show info and haven't received an email reply from TOH as to the show or contractor. Thanks in advance for any help/info. |
